Have you always been drawn to the beauty of charcoal sketches? Yearned to learn how to pick up a pencil and make a quick sketch of the person in front of you? Or are you an experienced sketch artist but struggle to find models to sit for you and have grown rusty in an art form you once loved?

Join Gypsy Studios Art for a weekend intensive art workshop filled with two days of gesture drawings, quick sketches, and long poses with an experienced nude model and instruction to help you develop the skill set to be able to bring charcoal to life. All materials will be provided for this two day event, including standing easels, drawing boards, charcoal, conte crayons, erasers, newsprint, and drawing papers. You will receive instruction from our trained professional artist in how to convert the human figure before you into a moving form on the paper you’ll be working with. Lunch will also be provided both days from a local eatery here in our beautiful valley.
