Seyburn Zorthian is one of 25 artists whose works will be exhibited in "How Modernism Came to Santa Barbara: 1945-1990," opening July 6 at the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art in Santa Barbara.
Zorthian, an abstract painter known for her brushwork, is co-owner of Buttonwood Farm Winery & Vineyard. Her studio is in a barn on the property in Solvang.
She is included in the exhibition with an impressive group of painters, including the late Channing Peake and Guy Williams.
There is an opening reception Friday, July 7, from 4 to 6 p.m. The exhibition runs through Aug. 5.
