Sandra Ruth Partch Murphy, 54, went home to the arms of Jesus on February 6, 2018, following a valiant 5-year battle with cancer. Sandi was born in Santa Barbara, CA to Willard and Barbara Partch on June 3, 1963. At the age of fourteen, the family relocated to the Santa Ynez Valley, where Sandi attended Santa Ynez Valley High School, and graduated from Allan Hancock College, a licensed dental assistant.
Sandi met and married her beloved husband, Michael Murphy on June 29, 2003, residing in Buellton. They were happily married for 14 years, serving together in their church, enjoying trips up to Cambria, sharing their love of animals, and enjoying the grandchildren and many friends who so loved her.
The center of Sandi's love and life was her vibrant faith in Jesus Christ. She attended Gate Way Foursquare Church for over 20 years, serving on the worship team on the keyboard and vocals. Sandi had a special gift for selecting beautiful music, and, with her ethereal voice, touched many hearts, bringing heaven to earth.
Beautiful inside and out, Sandi was loved by everyone she touched, inspiring us with her triumphant faith in the face of adversity. She will be fondly remembered by all for her thoughtful and generous spirit, her positive upbeat attitude that encouraged and lifted others, and her desire and willingness to pray for anyone in need.
We thank God for the gift of her life, her example of goodness, strength and faith, and for all the love and memories she leaves behind.
Sandi is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Mike Murphy, parents, Willard & Barbara Partch, brothers, Ken Partch (Yumi), Randy Partch (Karen), David Partch (Jackie),
