Be among the first to explore the exhibition and purchase the artwork by the Rose Compass artists, a group of six local women who have explored the impact of the Santa Ynez River. Enjoy appetizers, wine poured by Flying Goat Cellars, and the opportunity to meet all six artists.
The event will be held at the Wildling Museum, 1511-B Mission Drive in Solvang, at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17.
Each ticket holder will receive a complimentary exhibition catalog and the chance to win an original artwork from the show.
The talented artists who call themselves Rose-Compass are: Nicole Strasburg, Holli Harmon, Connie Connally, Pamela Zwehl-Burke, Libby Smith and Nina Warner. They each have their distinct creative points of view but the medium of gouache and the watershed unite them. They have been painting and exploring for several months already and routinely post blogs about their adventures and musings.
A $75 ticket includes one exhibition catalog and one chance to win one of six paintings, plus the chance to meet all six artists, enjoy live music, sparkling wine and appetizers and to be among the first people to enjoy the exhibition and sale. Need not be present to win.
A $10 guest ticket includes admission to the event.
