Relay for Life, American Cancer Society's most important annual fundraiser and awareness raiser, is returning to the Dunn School campus in Los Olivos on March 25.
The event will kick off at 1 p.m. by celebrating everyone who's been affected by cancer. The "Survivors Lap," a celebratory walk around the track by anyone attending who is dealing with the diseases, follows at 1:30. Hundreds of participants, who have raised money by signing up family and friends to donate into their effort, will then walk around the track in teams.
The daylong event also features food and live music prior to the 8 p.m. Luminaria Ceremony, honoring loved ones lost to cancer and the 9 p.m. closing ceremony.
