Authorities are on the hunt for suspects involved in a drive-by shooting that occurred late Wednesday night in Buellton.

At approximately 11:15 p.m., Santa Barbara County's public safety dispatch center received a 911 call about gunshots heard in the 300 block of Gay Drive in Buellton.

Sheriff's deputies who responded found two vehicles with damage they believed was caused by gunshots. No one was injured in the incident, officials said.

Witnesses described seeing an older-model white sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry or Corolla, occupied by two people driving slowly through the area, officials said.

One witness saw someone in the suspect vehicle fire at a specific home, then slowly drive away from the area.

Surrounding businesses and residences were checked, but no other victims were identified.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office at 692-5743 or leave an anonymous tip at 681-4171.
