Denise Donatelli, the three-time Grammy nominated recording and international concert artist, will return for the 10th annual Los Olivos Jazz & Olive Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 7.

Guests will enjoy an afternoon of wine samplings from 30 of the area's vintners, together with food tastings prepared by 30 amateur chefs, and, of course, superb live jazz.

This event, which is produced each year by the Los Olivos Rotary Club, provides funding for scholarships and help for many Santa Ynez Valley nonprofits.

The event is generously supported by sponsorships from local businesses, plus enthusiastic attendance by area residents. It is also beneficial for the local economy because of the hundreds of attendees coming from outside Santa Barbara County, who shop, dine, and purchase hotel rooms while here.

This year's festival will again spotlight Donatelli and five world-class jazz musicians. Widely known for her exceptional tone and perfect pitch, Donatelli performs at concerts throughout the world and was honored in 2012 by The Los Angeles Jazz Society as Jazz Vocalist of the Year.

Joining Donatelli will be renowned jazz musicians Stefan Karlsson, Bob Sheppard, Larry Koonse, Tom Warrington, and Joe LaBarbera. These musicians have toured around the world and bring resumes packed with composing and teaching, as well as performance excellence.

Because the Festival attendance is limited to 650, the event has sold out in the past, and it is recommended that tickets be purchased in advance, especially by those visiting from outside the area. Tickets are $60 and available at 325-9280, on-line at jazzandolivefestival.org, or locally at The Book Loft in Solvang, and Corner House Coffee in Los Olivos.
