People Helping People (PHP) will be conducting a one-day sale of wines remaining in its inventory from its 2016 Vino de Sueños wine release. The sale will be conducted on Friday, May 12. Dean Palius, PHP CEO said that “the wines are excellent and priced to sell fast. Even big box stores can’t match these prices.”

Vino de Sueños is the wine label of People Helping People (PHP). Proceeds from the sales of Vino de Sueños (VDS) wines, the original art work on which wine labels are based, and life style auction packages at the annual VDS Wine Release event help PHP fund services it provides to vineyard and farm workers and their families. Last year, PHP served nearly 1,000 unduplicated farm and vineyard workers in the Santa Ynez, Los Alamos, and Lompoc Valleys.

Last November, PHP originally released 12 wines under its VDS label. Six of the different wines remain in very limited quantities including Alma Rosa 2013 Pinot Gris, Quail Crossing 2015 Pinot Grigio, Palmina 2013 Rea VI Bianco, Kita 2014 Grenache, Ken Brown 2014 Pinot Noir, and Star Lane 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon. Prices range from $14 to $34. Five and 10 percent discounts apply to six pack and case purchases respectively including mixed items.

"This is a great time to make some excellent wine buys, celebrate Mother’s Day, and support PHP’s work to assist farm and vineyard workers and their family members. This will be the last chance to purchase these wines," said Becky Barieau, VDS event chair.

Friday, May 12 will be the only day that orders can be fulfilled since as a nonprofit, PHP can only obtain a one-day event sales license. However, reservations for purchases can be made immediately.

To make a purchase, call Cheryl at 805-686-0295 or visit www.vinodesuenos.com. Orders will be reserved and available for pick-up at the PHP office in Solvang on May 12. PHP will deliver to locations in the Santa Ynez Valley on orders of $150 or more.
