Lompoc Concert Association completes its 70th season on Saturday, March 17th, with a performance by musical comedy team DuoBaldo. Violinist Brad Repp performs on a 1736 Testore violin, while pianist/actor Aldo Gentileschi says he performs on whatever piano he can find.
Duo Baldo’s artists made their debut with Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli in 2004. They have performed worldwide, with a critically acclaimed combination of virtuoso technique, theatrical humor, and pop culture.
"We’ve booked them twice, by popular demand! Brad is a wizard on the violin, and Aldo is a comic genius at the piano. The audience loves them!" Bettina Swigger, Executive Director, The Festival Mozaic, San Luis Obispo
Tickets will be available when the doors of First United Methodist Church open at 6:45 on March 17th, with adult admission $25 and student $5. The concert begins at 7:30pm and will be followed by a reception in the church hall. For more information call 805-588-5971 or visit www.LompocConcert.org.
