Registration is now open for the 30th annual Summertime Arts program, offered by Arts Outreach to students just completing kindergarten through eighth grades. This art-based summer program will be offered at Los Olivos School.

The program offers morning, afternoon or all-day options during six one-week sessions that run from June 12 through July 21. Morning sessions run from 9 a.m. to noon and include two classes. Afternoon sessions are from 1 to 4 p.m. The full-day option includes supervised lunch with crafts. All workshops are divided into age-appropriate classes.

The wide range of classes includes: Adventures In Art, Modern Madness, Danish Days, It’s Hammer Time, Fun and Games and ... Art!, Express Yourself, Dragons & Mythical Creatures, Fanciful Fairytales, Art in the Afternoon, Shadow Puppets, Books and Beyond, Puppets on Parade, Papier Mache Pets, Fun with Your Favorite Food, Animal Art, Roadtrip U.S.A., Put the ‘Art’ in E-art-h and European Backpacking Adventure.

Arts Outreach instructors have experience in their artistic disciplines, as well as in teaching children. Class sizes are 20 students or fewer.
