Palmer is holding a book release party from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at Riverview Park, 151 Sycamore Drive in Buellton.

The book release party will be a potluck picnic and the public is invited to meet some of the dogs that inspired the book. Her book will be offered at discounted prices for the occasion.

Palmer has expanded her nonprofit business to include pet care services and dog training to supplement her income. This book was written to share inspirational stories, techniques, and meditations to help people have a spiritual connection with their pets.

She states in her book that our dogs are not only our best friends, but they are our greatest spiritual teachers.

Palmer is a volunteer at Happy Endings Animal Rescue Sanctuary and will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the book to them.  Proceeds from the book will also be going towards Palmer’s local nonprofit business Eco-Angel Enterprises to help further environmental education in public schools.

Palmer will also be signing books from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at The Book Loft on Mission Drive in Solvang. The books will be available on Amazon.com, www.dogsaregiftsfromgod.com,, The Book Loft, and other local businesses.
