The spirit of Linda Kaye Edwards joined her heavenly Father on December 26, 2017 after her long, hard fought battle with cancer.
Linda is survived by her husband Duane Williams, her sons Ryan and Brad Edwards, her sister Janet Newman, brothers Eric and David Pierce and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Chandler-Nunes, father Lewis Pierce and step-father Larry Nunes.
Having lived in the Nipomo and Santa Maria areas for most of her life, she was an avid sports enthusiast and nutritionist. She gave freely of her time and energy to help anyone with their health and nutrition needs, especially those training with her for the Iron Man Relays. It was not uncommon for Linda to bicycle from Santa Maria to Los Olivos with her best friend Frances for lunch and do a little window shopping before biking back to Santa Maria.
Linda had a style all her own. She was a meticulous homemaker who loved to remodel and redecorate her home. Every remodeling project was extensively researched before being put out to bid. She was a tough project manager much to the dismay of her contractors as she expected the job to be done correctly, on budget and on time.
Linda's infectious smile and boundless energy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Linda's life will be celebrated on Thursday, January 4th at 10:00 a.m. at the Loper Funeral Chapel located at 2465 Baseline Ave. in Ballard. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery also in Ballard.
