Wayne G. Kostman

Wayne G. Kostman, husband, father, grandfather, world traveler, humanitarian, rare book dealer, St. Olaf, Freie Universität, and USC graduate, Montanan, Rotarian, Lutheran, Getty Museum volunteer, and lifelong educator (Azusa Unified School District, 1959-1993) who served as a substitute teacher at Santa Ynez Valley Union High School for 21 years during his 'retirement' (where he was known as 'Mr. K, the Jolly Rancher Man') will be remembered during a memorial service followed by Celebration of Life on September 8 from 1 to 4pm at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Santa Ynez. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shelby Kostman, along with sons Keith and Chris, and grandchildren Thalia and Dylan. Students and friends are invited to attend.
