Lindberg - Withrow
Alyssa Ann Lindberg, daughter of Jeffrey and Holly Lindberg of Solvang, married Christopher
David Withrow, son of Gail McGowan and Richard Edsall and David and Dixie Withrow, all of Chico.
They were married
June 18, 2010 in a double-ring ceremony in the gar-den of the bride’s maternal step-grandmother, Marilyn Woodill in Chico.
Nuptials were performed by the bride’s uncle, Steve Woodill. Fifty guests attended the wedding.
The bride wore a 1940s vintage-style trumpet gown with cap-sleeves and a keyhole back. The veil was fingertip length with fine needlepoint lace and pearls. Her bouquet had assorted roses in tones of deep red and peach.
The maid of honor was Katelyn Withrow, sister of the groom. She wore a garden-style sun dress and carried a bouquet of assorted baby roses.
The bride’s father gave the bride in marriage.
The best men were Scott Lindberg, brother of the bride and Chris Cook, childhood friend of the groom.
The reception was held in the garden.
The couple honeymooned with a road trip to Fort Polk, La., where the groom is stationed and the couple will live.
The bride graduated from Santa Ynez Valley Union High School in 2005. Four years later, she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in English from St. Mary’s College in Moraga. She is presently attending graduate school.
The groom graduated from Pleasant Valley Union High School in 2003 and graduated in May 2006 from Butte College Police Academy. He is an ongoing student at CSU Chico.
The groom is a private first class in the Army and assigned to the 4th Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, 3rd Squadron, 89th Cavalry.
