Zoey is a 2-year-old tan-and-white pitbull terrier mix. She is super cute and perfectly compact, weighing only 42 pounds. Zoey is indifferent to strangers, but does form strong bonds with those she trusts. She can be quite playful and will do anything for a game of fetch. She enjoys the water and is a pretty good swimmer. When introduced to a Chihuahua, she was polite and walked well with him. Although Zoey hasn’t been cat tested, she was introduced to a group of chickens and showed little interest.
Since arriving at Old Yeller Ranch Rescue (OYRR), her exposure to children has been limited, but she has had positive interactions with a dog savvy 8-year-old who spent time with her. Zoey is up-to-date on her vaccinations and is spayed. She is available for adoption at OYRR, a small, non-profit canine rescue facility dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters.
