Richard Longoria Wines' flagship wine, 2013 Pinot Noir, Fe Ciega Vineyard, was chosen as one of just 12 wines to represent California at Vinexpo in Hong Kong last week. A two-hour tasting titled “California Style” was presented May 25 by Karen MacNeil, Sarah Jane Evans, Debra Meiburg and Sarah Kemp, four of the most influential women in the international wine community. The seminar introduced attendees to the diverse range of California’s finest wines.

“It’s an honor to be included in this VIP tasting,” said Rick Longoria, winemaker and owner of the Lompoc winery.

Vinexpo was attended by nearly 20,000 trade visitors and wine media. A podcast of the Hollywood-style grand breakfast tasting was sent out globally. The event attracted an international audience of media, wine industry influencers, leaders in trade and key opinion leaders.
