The man accused of leading Santa Maria Police on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle late Tuesday night has been identified, thanks to the community's help, but he is still at-large.
The suspect is identified as Manuel Frank Perez, 41, of Santa Maria, who is wanted on felony charges.
Officials now need the public's help in locating him.
Perez is a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 230 pounds, with a mustache, shaved head and numerous tattoos.
He reportedly led police on a chase through the community, during which officers lost sight of him. They later found the stolen car Perez was allegedly driving abandoned in another part of the city.
Officers backtracked and found surveillance of Perez in a convenience store, and also found a witness who saw a person matching Perez's description in the surveillance photograph fleeing from the vehicle.
Police are not asking the public to approach or try to detain him.
