Weather forecasters have downgraded their initial predictions of rain, and possibly snow, coming into the area to a very small percentage. Last year a strong El Niño weather pattern brought wet weather to the Central Coast and dragged most of Southern California out of a prolonged drought.  This year is different.  Warm weather patterns have negated the winter of 2016/17 and brought dry conditions back to the Golden State. This is a look back at a gallery we published on Feburary 17 of 2017, highlighting the impacts of a strong storm that passed through the Central Coast causing downed power lines, tress, localized flooding and more.
