Pirate Garage

Car-loving students at Santa Ynez Valley Union High School are getting revved up for the fifth annual Pirate Garage Car Show set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17.

Classic, custom and antique cars and trucks as well as motorcycles owned by students, teachers and members of the general public will fill the parking lot of the school at Highway 246 and North Refugio Road in Santa Ynez.

Awards will be handed out in various categories, but more is in store for Valley gearheads. The event will include food, music, a variety of booths, children’s activities and a raffle sponsored by Santa Ynez Valley Youth Recreation.

Admission is free.

To register a car, truck or motorcycle for the event or for more information, contact Rob Hill at 688-6487, ext. 3230, or rhill@syvuhsd.org.
