The House voted Wednesday to send two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump to the Senate. Trump called it a “Con Job by the Do Nothing Democrats,” but he was far from the only one talking about it on social media.
Here we go again, another Con Job by the Do Nothing Democrats. All of this work was supposed to be done by the House, not the Senate!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 15, 2020
Cryin’ Chuck Schumer just said, “The American people want a fair trial in the Senate.” True, but why didn’t Nervous Nancy and Corrupt politician Adam “Shifty” Schiff give us a fair trial in the House. It was the most lopsided & unfair basement hearing in the history of Congress!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 14, 2020
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi
Rep. Kevin McCarthy
Sen. Kamala Harris
The Senate is receiving the articles of impeachment against President Trump today. We should not advance any more judicial nominees while we take on this solemn responsibility of the president’s trial for high crimes and misdemeanors.— Kamala Harris (@SenKamalaHarris) January 15, 2020

When talking about the impeachment she rambled about the “Founders & Poets” & Time
Your time is up Nancy Pelosi. You lost the respect of the american people. You ruined the democrat party & ended your legacy

Sen. Lindsey Graham
This is a long overdue action by the House – to finally begin the process of transmitting the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate.— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) January 15, 2020
I can say with a high degree of confidence this is the beginning of the end of this impeachment debacle.

Here is @SpeakerPelosi explaining why she held off, and eventually moved forward with impeachment. As she said "he gave us no choice." Message to @senatemajldr, you have a choice. Time for you to choose America and to defend our constitution. pic.twitter.com/lIMQV7ArJT— Fred Guttenberg (@fred_guttenberg) January 15, 2020

Lev Parnas has a lawyer, so I assume he knows the risks of speaking to @maddow tonight in the context of his ongoing prosecution. I don’t imagine Maddow agreed to this without significant documentation being provided to corroborate whatever Parnas is going to say on air.— Bradley P. Moss (@BradMossEsq) January 15, 2020

Lindsey Graham during the Clinton impeachment: "Please give us a chance to present our case in a persuasive fashion because, unlike the House, everything is in dispute here. It is totally a different ballgame here. That's why we need witnesses, ladies and gentlemen." https://t.co/NZa5tMR5mf— Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) January 15, 2020
Appointing the now entirely discredited Adam Schiff to lead the sham impeachment trial as a “House Manager” is apropos for the lunatic Democrats. There’s not a soul on Capitol Hill with less credibility, & less dignity, than this conspiracy-theory promoting zero. He’s a disgrace.— Dan Bongino (@dbongino) January 15, 2020
Another senator weighs in on the restrictions set for press covering the Senate impeachment trial: @brianschatz— Sam Brodey (@sambrodey) January 15, 2020
"These unreasonable restrictions must be reversed so that the press has the access they need to do their jobs, expose the truth, and keep our leaders accountable."
