Cabrillo baseball skills camp coming
Cabrillo High baseball will be hosting the Skylar Kindschy Memorial Skills Camp on February 23.
Cost for the camp is $25 and includes a T-Shirt. The camp is for participants between ages 8-14.

Golf clinics at Rancho Maria
Tony “The Golf Doctor” Murphy has joined the staff at Rancho Maria Golf Club and will be teaching junior and ladies golf clinics on Saturday mornings.
This will be an inexpensive, weekly year-long program costing $10 per session.

Hancock track and field clinic
Hancock College will host a track and field clinic for athletes and coaches Saturday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Hancock track.
The cost is $10.
Instruction will focus on starting blocks, hurdles, the high jump, the pole vault, the sprints, distance running, the long jump, the shot put, the discus and relays.

Lompoc High baseball alumni game
The Lompoc High alumni baseball game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 16 at Dan Bodary Field at LHS.
Batting practice is scheduled for 11 a.m., with a barbecue at 12 p.m. and first pitch for the alumni game at 2 p.m.
Run For God 5K Challenge
A free 12-week series of running and walking classes that prepares contestants for a 5K race begins on Feb. 16.
The series offers tips for all skill levels, whether they are first-time walkers or experienced runners.
There are two sessions that run from Feb. 16 to May 18. A beginner class from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays and an experienced class from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The classes meet at The Harbor Church, located at 751 E. Foster Road in Orcutt and is for ages 10-and-up.
The classes are free, though books and T-shirts are optional to purchase.
The class also features a graduation day with the Bull Canyon Run on May 18.

Noah Scott Tournament coming
The third annual Noah Scott Memorial Golf Tournament has been announced for March 24 at the Mission Club in Vandenberg Village.
The golf outing will be in a shotgun format and registration begins at 11:30 a.m. Tournament play begins at 12:30 p.m.
There will also be a live and silent auction taking place from 4 to 7 p.m. Live auction will start at 6:30 p.m.

One Way Water Polo seeks players
The Santa Maria-based One Way Water Polo program offers both masters and youth water polo to anyone interested in playing.
No experience is necessary. The first two visits to the program are free, and scholarships are available to those who qualify.
The new Sunday hours have masters from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and youth, ages 7 through 14, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
One Way Water Polo Club offers both beginning water polo and more advanced competitive league play for 10-and-under, 12-and-under and 14-and-under.
Practices take place at Paul Nelson Pool in Santa Maria.
