Tibetan monks from Drepung Gomang Monastary of Mundgod, South India, returned to Hancock College this week to complete a sacred Medicine Buddha Mandala. The Drepung Gomang monks will spend four days constructing the sacred image -- thought to promote peace, calm and tranquility in the heart -- in the Ann Foxworthy Gallery, located in the Academic Resource Center. The gallery will be open for viewing progress on the mandala each day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
